Help John K. Make A New Cartoon!

Hi everybody!  Just a quick note to let you all know that my good pal John K. has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise money for a potentially hilarious new cartoon "Cans Without Labels".  If you aren't familiar with who John K. is, he is a brilliant and highly skilled artist who created The Ren and Stimpy Show (as well as many other cool things, like the Bjork video for "I Miss You").  The new cartoon he wants to make stars one of the characters from the series, George Liquor.

There is no one who is a bigger fan of John than me, and as an artist I owe him a great deal as I learned most of what I know about cartooning from the lessons provided on his blog (for FREE even).  John has also contributed a great deal to the field of animation, and continues to push its boundaries by masterfully merging its principle foundations with the new and cutting edge (in a non-pretentious way no less!  How rare is that!?).

So I'm asking everyone to please take a minute to check out his page (he has some killer prizes, everything from original artwork, to t shirts, to cool digital toys to hang out with you on your desktop), watch his convivial video, and prove us Americans actually aren't a race of artless dullards by contributing whatever you can to this more than worthy cause.

John K., "Cans Without Labels"

Thanks!
Elana

p.s. He ain't half bad lookin', wouldn't you agree?
